Course offerings
Urban Greenscaping
This training only is for those 18–24 years old
Duration: 5 weeks
Certifications and skills acquired: Brooklyn Botanic Garden Horticulture Certificate, OSHA-30, and OSHA Forklift Operator training
Graduate starting wage: $15–$19/hr. Entry Level
ENVIRONMENTAL REMEDIATION
Duration: 6 weeks
Certifications and skills acquired: 30-hour OSHA, Confined Space, Asbestos Handling, and 40-hour. HAZWOPER certifications
Graduate starting wage: $15–$19/hr. Entry Level
CONSTRUCTION (SKILLED BUILD)
Duration: 7 weeks
Certifications and skills acquired: 30 Hr. OSHA, Flagger, Scaffolding, and F-60 Fire Guard, Solar One Green Construction Certificate, and 10-hour Site Safety Certificate
Placement: Major development projects including the former Domino Sugar Factory
Graduate starting wage: $15–$19/hr. Entry Level
HVAC & Building Maintenance
Duration: 8 weeks
Certifications and skills acquired: OSHA-30, 10-Hour Site Safety, Building Operations & Maintenance, GPRO Mechanical Certification, EPA 608 Certification, Fireguard F-60, Fireguard G-6
Placement: Hudson Companies, Broadway Builders, Mega, Two Trees, Trane, Admiral Air Conditioning
Graduate starting wage: $17–$20
